But she got the idea for the project after discovering Applejack's name and her love for the cartoon character on a trip to a friend's house.
Applejack was first sketched by the creator/creator of Apple TV, David Ayer, while working on The Twilight Zone and The Good Dinosaur. She eventually became the character in the animated spinoff series A Nightmare on Elm Street on which she made a cameo starring in the 2009 film Pinkerton.
