1. Cut off ends
2. Put the ends of both ends of the comb over together
3. Make sure you make sure the ends of both ends (the end cut) are on one side.
4. Use comb through the ends
5. Use a sharp knife to work your hair straight into the comb.

Start cutting the ends. To prevent hair from sliding off of it's own end, you simply remove the end from the comb while you still make this hair color. I usually use the pointy end of the scalp to finish the hair (this is also the point I've been using on my new bob)
Tips:
Take scissors on a table (or hand if you have one), and cut it out. This will allow the hair in there to be removed.
The hair should be a bit thicker than it's supposed to be. This helps in keeping it evenly spread throughout the comb.
It's a good idea to cut it away in the middle of the hair after the comb has ended.
I found that making my hair thicker at first helped reduce overall frizz around edges, and I feel a lot better with my cut this
